On the occasion of the 8th anniversary of the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST), Taiwan, a delegation from the Institute of International Education (ISE) – Vietnam Maritime University paid an official visit and held working sessions at NKUST from December 5 to December 6, 2025.
During the working session, ISE and NKUST discussed a number of key issues, focusing on long-term cooperation strategies, including:

Enhancing undergraduate student exchange programs between the two universities, creating opportunities for ISE students to study and experience an advanced educational environment in Taiwan, and vice versa.

Expanding faculty exchange programs to promote academic sharing, teaching methodologies, and professional engagement.

Discussing postgraduate scholarship programs, particularly Master’s and PhD scholarships at NKUST for graduates of Vietnam Maritime University.

Exploring the development of additional joint academic programs, laying a strong foundation for future research collaboration and knowledge transfer initiatives.

Strengthening collaborative research projects in the fields of economics, engineering, technology, and maritime studies—the core strengths of both institutions.
The visit marked an important milestone, contributing to the strengthening and expansion of the partnership between ISE and NKUST, while opening up numerous new opportunities for students, faculty members, and the university’s international programs.
